Northwestern AZ, Attack on Cow and Slaughtered Calf
Unknown Uncollared Mexican wolf? USFWS said nope wasn’t theirs, eventually they collared it. Cattle try and protect their calves this is how it works out for them.

In 2019, they wintered in our heavy cows in deep snow, and we were not told they killed 17 calves from our bred early calf crop before we learned they were there. No one from USFWS or USFS told us they were in the cattle, we could not get into them anyway because the snow was deep. When it thawed this is how we learned they were on us and eating our calves and cows. This calf was in the road telling us they were here. then on and on it went.

Wolf Kill Walking, On the Cooney Prairie, Catron County.
This is a typical kill that ranchers have to find still walking around, having provided a meal for a wolf or two. They don’t always die right away. You won’t find PETA having anything to say about this though. If they did, they would blame the rancher. Remind us why we are being forced to live like this again please.
