Petition Delist, Defund, Revoke and Revamp, ESA Wolf Programs: Petition to Delist Wolves Nationwide

We the undersigned request that the US Congress Natural Resource Committee, the US Congress and the US Senate, the Department of Interior, USFWS and the US Department of Agriculture begin to work towards delisting all wolves and wolf subspecies, throughout the United States of America.

We ask that you also Defund wolf Programs in Every State.

We ask that any Non Government Organization that sues to support the animal over the rights of agricultural producers, have their tax-exempt status revoked and back taxes applied to their organization to cover the costs of the programs they have demanded.

We ask that you support complete Revamping of the Endangered Species Act to protect the rights of people and Ag producers.

We also request that the wolves be recategorized as vermin so that they can be controlled when a state chooses to over protect them at producers expense.

There still remain hundreds of thousands of wolves throughout the North American continent and the rest of the world, there is no need to put them in large numbers where people must earn a living in relative safety.

Ranchers deserve to raise cattle, horses and families in a landscape free of daily anxiety, depression and destructive, stressful predator attacks. Our cattle and horses and other ranch stock deserve to be protected from suffering and torturous deaths, caused by wolves pulling them down and eating them while they die of shock and blood loss. No business owner should be subjected to this carnage by their government.

It should never have been left on our shoulders to feed a so-called endangered species so that government biologists could have a career.

The Endangered Species Act has been used as a social engineering tool with rural America suffering from it disproportionately for decades, and it needs to be revamped to protect rural Americans their future, their health safety welfare, and their livelihoods.

It is long past time to remove protections for this apex predator and allow mankind to protect and manage wildlife by allowing hunters to fill that niche.

  1. Please delist all wolves nationally. Deer and elk populations are being impacted. Friends, family and neighbors have faced loss of cattle and loss of freedom to walk their land freely. Wolves are increasingly showing abnormal behavior and no fear of human spaces. They are out of control.

  2. I love wolves, but they are being a costly nuscence… I love steak more… please before any child, human, pets , live stock gets killed… please let people kill the wolves in their area to protect themselves, their family, and live stock…
    Thank you

  3. Ranchers lose livestock frequently to wolves and the USFWS does nothing about it. They are purposely running off small business ranchers whose families have used public land , ,along with deeded land they own , since 1905 when the forest service was created. And even before that settlers ranched with the general land office 120-130 years ago. The USFWS needs the office of DOGE to go through their esa ( endangered species )and wolf introductions since 1995. They illegally used Pittman – Robertson act money to introduce wolves into the lower 48. This money is from taxes on firearms , fishing equipment , etc and is exclusively mandated to be used as money for GAME species (like any animal that is hunted or fished for. )Not for introducing a predator like a wolf or protecting grizzlies who have not been hunted in the lower 48 for 50 years. Bruce Babbitt , frmr DOI Secretary , and Doug smith need to be in prison for fraudulently stealing money from the Pittman Robertson act funds. It was a robbery of money from one source of revenue to another. Sound familiar of what you found in DOGE? They fraudulently misused funds for esa animals that are not hunted. Wolves kill hundreds of cattle yearly with little compensation. They destroyed elk and moose herds in parts of Wy and Montana. Please help.

  4. We have lost cattle and wasted time and money on trying to prevent our livestock from being harassed or killed by wolves on our ranch….The endangered species act needs some reform especially to limit power to destroy livelihoods..

  5. Wolves are not an endangered species. There’s room for them to exisist in Canada and Alaska where they still have to be controled in population or they wipe out all prey species. They’ve always been present in MI and WI. Wolves have dicimated ungulate herd in the PNW and continue to kill domestic cattle on private property. Now they’re killing domestic cattle and dogs and other livestock in CO, and have done so for 30 years in AZ and NM. These wolves don’t belong among civilization. Man is and should be allowed to continue to be the alpha species.

  6. Our family ranches in N. Eastern CA and we have been dealing with Gray Wolves that wandered here from Canada,
    For almost 10 years.
    The numbers are rapidly increasing,
With packs all around us and the cattle depredations are increasing as well.
These wolves come right up to our homes and barns. They are not endangered and are not wild.
I fear for all of my animals, but especially my grandchildren.. other then deer, that are also the prey of a large lion population as well a bear, these wolves have become
Habituated to our cattle and our ranches.
The radical groups and all those against ranching and hunting, are well funded and do not care about what happens to any of us. We are disposable !.. and get in the way of controlling our natural resources ..
I pray we find. A solution

  7. There is a reason wolves were almost eradicated, they were the biggest threat to a thriving society. More so by far than any other natural predator. Therefore I support the delisting of wolves and the reversal of funding for any wolf program. The “agreements” have not been followed anyway, and wolves are now in areas that were not their historical habitat, in violation of most reintroduction plans. Get rid of them now.

  8. Here in minnesota growing up i was taught all about the outdoors. I’ve long wanted to pass that tradition down to my kids, without the registration of wolves in this state I’ve see multiple species including deer decline so bad I’ve had to give up hunting in various parts of the state, shifting my focus on coyote hunting. Because no registration on wolves I’ve seen the devastation on the deer heard, I have ran game camers as well as still hunts and I’ve first hand seen how wolves have moves in an area close to houses to kill off deer hearts, I’ve seen coyotes become more of a problem with less deer to feed on as well. I’ve limited time a field, limited time spent outdoors with the safety of me and my daughter without a side are of rifle with the ever increasing rise in wolf numbers that have moved in my area. Like most we can all tell a story but the science is right in front of all of us, like any animal we have had hunting seasons, limits and regulations for many reasons.

  9. Everything needs to be managed. The wolves are getting out of hand in northern MN and are coming into town taking our pets. Management needs to happen. We have way over 3000 wolves in st louis county. The DNR says it’s under 3000 so then we wouldn’t have a reason to manage them. Wolves are out of control and the sportsman up here are not happy.

  10. I agree that wolves should not be protected. Camping in the forest has become not an enjoyable experience since the wolves have been reintroduced to the Gila. they are not afraid of people and will walk right into your camp. I have small grandchildren and cannot turn my eyes off of them at camp due to fear of the wolves. We live in Silver City and have seen wolves near town.

  11. Tired of worrying about my cows getting attacked and no deer in northern Mn where my shack is!!!!

  12. Not only have the Wolves cost many farmers lost cattle, they have also killed many people’s pets here in Minnesota. Our deer population has gone down tremendously, and our moose population is dwindling. It’s time we let people who spend their time north of the metro have a voice and be heard, not from some dweeb sitting in some office or cubicle in the city.

  13. Please listen to the hunters and ranchers who have the truth of just how overpopulated the USA is with wolves. Liberals and lobbyists need to go see firsthand the problems that wolves actually do. Thank you.

  14. We are sick and tired of being afraid to let our dogs of the house without watching over them very close. Our grandchildren can’t even play outside without fear of being attacked.

  15. Please delist the Mexican Grey wolf. They are a huge danger to our children, our ranching communities and our entire way of life.

  16. There was a reason the government had them eradicated in the 1900’s. Wolves kill for fun. They don’t balance populations they kill until there’s nothing left and move into a new area. If wolves have to be here fine, but let us manage them. They are taking away livelihoods in many areas. It’s only a matter of time until they take a human life it’s not worth the risk.

  17. Delist all species of wolves immediately! They are definitely no longer endangered! They are a detriment to the nations meat production as well as the nations hunting industry.

  18. Wolves are vicious and deadly. The do not kill just for food, they kill for the joy of killing. We own livestock and should be able to defend them against these apex predators, without having stupid, extreme left government officials’ charging us with crimes and fines. Wolves kill people too, but you may never find the remains of the victims. My Swedish relatives tell us of ‘Wolf Winters’ where people were killed on their way to town or on the way back.

  19. The current non management of the wolves in northern Minnesota is a disgraceful. Mn dnr should be charged with dereliction of duty.

  20. Please take them off of the protection list,They’re are far too many Wolves and they need to be managed properly,Thank you,

  21. I hunt in northern MN and deer are not around anymore wolves are so bad.. starting to hunt down south

  22. I have 5 wolve kills on my 80 acres this winter! We need to delist the Timber wolves! My customers have watched them chase deer down on Swan lake and Pokegama lake and kill deer in front of their houses.

  23. The government nearly eradicated of the wolves in the mid 20th century for a reason, the wolves are devastation to wildlife and livestock. in Arizona and New Mexico, there isn’t wildlife enough to sustain packs of wolves.
We do not want wolves in our states, please delist the wolf and make it possible for the rancher and any human to make a living.
    Delist the wolf

  24. Wolves destroy game animal populations. And the Environmentalists are completely out of control to remove Ranchers and Outdoor enthusiasts from Public Land. Public land is We the Peoples land.

  25. Wolves are tearing the ecosystem apart. This is like emptying every prison in the United States. They have be put in ck. Delist them!

  26. The wolves are destroying our livelihood. The environmentalists are using the wolves as a weapon against the ranchers. Same as they did with the spotted owl against the loggers .. they pick any animal they want to and use it as a weapon through the endangered species act!

  27. The reintroduction of wolves are threatening to many ranchers who already struggle to make ends meet in the arid climate of the Southwest. They kill calves as well as weak compromised mature cattle. They have also become more intrusive recently, killing pets. Locals have commented that they fear children are next as wolves seem to not fear humans in the area. This operation has been a disaster as many locals predicted.
